내용의 출저는 아답텍사이트에서 가지고 왔습니다.(bios. 영문메누얼)
재 맥은 7300 입니다.(cpu upgrade g3 300, mac os 9.1)
pci-c슬롯에 끼우고 일단은 부팅함.(cpu쪽에 제일 가까운쪽이 a1 입니다)
화면상에서 apple system profiler 확인 카드유형에 n/a 라고 나타남.
압축프로그램을 풀고 메뉴얼을 보고 update 진행.
그리고 restart 후 확인결과 카드유형에 scsi-2, 카드이름에 adpt.2940uw 라고 나타남
전원off 후 HDD 를 2940uw 68핀으로 연결후 부팅을 햇는데 속도가 더 느린 느낌이고 실제 작업을 할때
프로그램 loading 속도는 약간 빠른느낌이네요(개인적인 의견입니다)
종전에는 메인보드의 scsi 50핀에 부팅함.
집에 놀고 있던 카드를 심심해서 인식을 시켜봤읍니다.
아래 내용(메뉴얼의 일부분을 발췌한 내용)은 적용가능한 맥입니다.
PowerDomain 2940UW v4.1 Readme
Thank you for purchasing the Adaptec PowerDomain 2940UW SCSI interface card. The 2940UW v4.1 release is for all PCI-based Macs running MacOS 8.5.1 or later.
NOTE!
Your 2940UW has been loaded with version 4.1 of the driver that will work ONLY in non-A/V systems (the AV systems include PowerMacs 7300, 7500, 7600, 8500, and 8600). If you own an A/V Mac, you will need to re-load the 4.1 driver onto your 2940UW using the 2940UW v4.1 A/V Flash Utility. Since you will not be able to boot your A/V Mac with the shipped 2940UW installed, you must use a non-A/V Mac to run the A/V Flash Utility. If you do not have access to a non-A/V Mac, please contact Adaptec Tech Support at (408) 934-7274.
Changes
This driver contains updates that will allow you to boot off of devices attached to your 2940UW in the Blue and White G3 and Platinum G4 systems.
You must now use the PowerDomain Control utility version 5.0 or later with the 4.1 driver for the 2940UW.
Using the 2940UW 4.1 Flash Utility
Make sure that you flash your 2940UW in the system that you intend to use it. In particular, DO NOT flash your 2940UW in a B&W G3 system if you plan to use it in something other than a B&W G3 system. This can lead to the 2940UW becoming unusable in your non-B&W system.
To update your PowerDomain 2940UW card, boot with virtual memory off, quit all running applications, then launch the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\"2940UW v4.1 Flash Utility\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" application.
It will display a list of all 2940UW cards in your system. Select all cards and click on \\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Update\\\\\\\\\\\\\\".

203.♡.39.157 2007.03.16 22:11제가 DV300이란 피나클 편집보드를 가지고 있죠. 거기 2940UW가 같이 붙어서 계속 쓰고 있답니다. 사실 그 보드 이제는 아범에 붙여서 쓰고 있어요.
여하튼 구형 맥에 잘 붙습니다. 제 꺼는 G3 300입니다.
